That worry makes so much sense. After all, you've never been part of a writing circle where you could feel seen and safe without having to sugarcoat anything your body wants to say. 

You want a loving relationship with your body and story, but without the safety of knowing you can express honestly – even vulnerably, it stays out of reach.

I've felt that frustration too.

I always worried that I was too deep-feeling and intense for a writing circle to be able to hold me. 

 

I wanted a space to express what I held, be witnessed in my words (even when that felt 😬) and be celebrated for the breakthroughs and healing my words brought forward. 

I knew that without this, what I held would continue to eat me up inside because that's exactly what suppression does: it disconnects us from our heart + body. It makes loving relationship with our body feel impossible. 

I hold complex trauma and a desire to deeply unravel for peace. It was my own longing that brought me to the Body Writers solution.

Body Writers is your safe space to drop into your body and write what you hold.

 

We begin each circle with a somatic drop-in and read aloud of our Rules for Writing, so you know how to give your body a voice. Then we write and share our writings in a warm, supportive circle.

After running and writing inside Body Writers for two years now, I know one thing for certain:

Who will be leading you?

I’m glad you asked.

I'm Jennifer - Certified Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy Coach, Somatic Writing Coach and highly sensitive INFJ empath.


I've been helping deeply sensitive womxn resolve somatic trauma and come home to their bodies by writing what their bodies hold since 2019.

I am a life-long writer, covert narcissistic abuse and cptsd survivor, and lived with chronic conditions for most of my life before learning to write my way into peace and presence with my body. 

My work as a Somatic Coach centers self-exploratory writing that gives honest voice to what your body holds. I have a gift for helping sensitive womxn explore and express their deepest feelings.
