Jennifer Arnspiger Body In Bloom Podcast

Want to have coffee and talk somatic memoir?

Giving your body a voice through writing? Owning, loving and accepting ourselves as deep-feeling creatives recovering our voices and reclaiming our stories after trauma?

Then Body In Bloom is for you.

Weekly episodes that deliver on Sunday mornings, my hope and intention is that episodes feel like a coffee date between you and I - each one of those great conversations that's open, vulnerable, and inspiring that you could stay in for hours. With coaching. :)

I'm an introverted writer (and certified Somatic Writing Coach) finding my way into hosting a podcast. It's very important to me that I honor my own need to feel safe being open and vulnerable - more me than I am anywhere else. I couldn't offer this podcast otherwise. The way I'm creating that safety for myself is by making Body In Bloom private, accessible for $8/month.

By doing this I can know you're listening because you're invested. And so can you. I'll offer you glimpses into the real me and connection with me that you can't get anywhere else, including insights into my own process and experience writing my second somatic memoir. But I won't just be talking about myself; it's my highest intention that each episode brings you a ton of inspiration and value - like a riot of flowers blooming in you.

Listen to your first month free

This gives you 4 episodes to take in my voice and my energy. To see if you enjoy and find value in what I have to say, and whether you'd even like a weekly coffee date with me.

By subscribing to Body In Bloom, know you'll also get some perks:

  • You'll be able to submit questions for me that I'll answer in episodes
  • You'll be able to request episode subjects
  • You'll be able (and invited) to share the kind of episodes you'd like to hear from me as Body In Bloom grows: teaching, conversations between me and marvelously interesting people, more on my experience writing my own memoir, life lately episodes, etc
  • You'll get the feeling of being part of a community by being able to share your responses to the episodes with me, without having to join yet another private group

Episode 3: Somatic Memoir & Reflections on Preparing to Write My Own

I try something new in this 34 minute episode: I talk about my experience preparing to write my second somatic memoir. This one is particularly vulnerable, rich and honest. Among other things, I talk about:

  • The difference between somatic story and memoir
  • How to know you have a somatic story
  • How my body told me (and continues to tell me) what story to write
  • The symbolism I found by writing toward my story that blew my mind

And then I read a piece I wrote recently toward my somatic story, to illuminate and underscore what I discuss in this episode.
